Bam, I can't believe it's time to say goodbye, but you were always punctual. In the time you had, you made yourself happy by doing the things you loved, spending time with family and friends, enjoying good food and watching football and films, listening to music and clothes shopping. In your profession, you were generous with your knowledge and had the ability to see the potential in many staff members who you groomed into management roles. Your life was filled with love and laughter and that is why you were able to give so much to others. Thank you, for the love, generosity, and support over the years but most of all thank you for the laughter, and there were lots. You were truly blessed with the ability to laugh... Mary-Ann I will never forget you. My memories stretch back to our childhood to the numerous wonderful family occasions and holidays we all spent together. The humour, the fun and laughter, particularly your laugh! Such happy times and memories. Your passing was such a shock, you will be greatly missed. Love always RIP. Tina xx

Mary Ann I have known you through work for many years, sadly at this time I am unable to attend your funeral. However I want to say your kindness, humour, sense of fairness and ability to listen was just what Sandwell needed from a Manager. To my dear sister-in-law Mary-Ann. I have known you for 38 years and right from the start, your warmth, humour and kindness made me feel very much part of the Brown family. You have made us laugh with many tales of the Brown family childhood misdemeanours and high jinks. We have shared many happy events and some sad ones too and throughout all of life’s ups and downs your love and devotion to your family has been strong and ever-present. We will all miss your love and generosity more than we can say and every time I see one of the many lovely plants you bought for us in our garden I will think of you. Rest in peace Mary-Ann. Mary Ann was a great team member and team player with a wonderful sense of humour. She made a fantastic contribution to Sandwell SSD in all jobs she did. She will be sadly missed and remembered with a lot of affection
