To my dear sister-in-law Mary-Ann. I have known you for 38 years and right from the start, your warmth, humour and kindness made me feel very much part of the Brown family. You have made us laugh with many tales of the Brown family childhood misdemeanours and high jinks. We have shared many happy events and some sad ones too and throughout all of life’s ups and downs your love and devotion to your family has been strong and ever-present. We will all miss your love and generosity more than we can say and every time I see one of the many lovely plants you bought for us in our garden I will think of you. Rest in peace Mary-Ann.
